Disqualifying interest is a hot topic for Colorado notaries. While the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts (RULONA) does a passable job of stating when the disqualifying interest threshold is passed, there remains some confusion regarding for who notarizations can be performed, especially in regards to family members.
